HOMEWORK: read Language of Composition pages 61-63, and 69-71

Your goal is to find more ideas about why writers use resources, what kind of resources and how they use them.

questions:

p 61 What does research have to do with "conversation"?

p 62 What types of support might you use?

What's the difference between data and facts?

Look at the example on p.63 and try to find the anecdotes, ethos and logos, statistics, etc.

p69-71 How do other authors use sources to establish ethos, pathos, logos?

p 69-71 How do authors use sources to appeal to different audiences?

Think of an example of how you have done this, or how you might do this (appeal to different audiences, making choices between ethos, pathos, and logos)
